With its similar cartouche-shaped cresting, entirely glass corpus, and lobed finials, this lot relates to a large engraved glass mirror previously in the collection of Eugène-Philipe de Mérode and subsequently in that of the Earl of Rosebery at Mentmore and attributed to the Spiegelmanufaktur Lohr am Main sold The Exceptional Sale; Christie's, New York, 11 December 2014, lot 42 ($209,000).
