Lot Essay

Decorated with the Three Graces, the outer two holding an ear of wheat and a flower, Eros seated on the right reaching up, a thymaterion on the left. This scene is typically found on Roman mirrors and is appropriate for this type of item used in the female toilette. For a discussion on the known types, see E. J.
