Arabic manuscript on ivory paper, 259ff. plus two flyleaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh, within gold rules, gold and polychrome roundel verse markers, sura headings in gold thuluth, with polychrome illuminated marginal medallions throughout, khams and 'ashar markers in gold thuluth, occasional marginal annotations in red nasta'liq, opening folio with illuminated shamsa, the following bifolio illuminated in gold and polychrome framing 5ll. in clouds reserved against a pink-hatched ground, final folio with colophon in gold naskh in clouds within an illuminated roundel, dated, opening shamsa and colophon remounted, in gilt stamped Safavid binding with polychrome cartouches on the doublures, minor repairs
