AN INSIDE-PAINTED CRYSTAL SNUFF BOTTLE
ATTRIBUTED TO WANG XISAN, DATED TO THE FIRST MONTH OF SUMMER OF THE GENGXU YEAR, CORRESPONDING TO 1970
The bottle is painted on one side with a bird perched on a magnolia branch gazing down upon two bees. The reverse shows a dragonfly flittering above a blooming lotus plant next to an inscription with the date. The base is inscribed in blue ink Wang Xisan zuo (made by Wang Xisan).
