A PINK TOURMALINE 'TOGGLE' SNUFF BOTTLE
LATE QING DYNASTY-REPUBLIC PERIOD
Of flattened, rounded shape, carved on one side with a circular and a square belt attachment, one with a seal reading guxi tianzi (an emperor of advanced age), the other with a Qianlong four-character yu ti seal. The reverse is inscribed with an imperial poem composed by the Qianlong emperor in 1774.
