AN UNUSUAL JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE

The bottle is of ovoid form and the beige stone is attractively mottled with green and mauve patches.

In her book, Rivers and Mountains Far From the World - The Rachelle R. Holden Collection, A Personal Commentary, New York, 1994, p. 289, the author assigns this bottle the title "One of a Kind." The presence of three colors makes this bottle unique and it is noted for being very well hollowed.
