A CARVED 'REALGAR' GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1850
Of flattened tapering ovoid form, the bottle is carved on both sides with flying cranes above waves and rocks. On one side the sun rises behind the waves encircling the base, and on the other side a bat flies amidst the cranes near a pavilion.
2 7⁄16 in. (6.1 cm.) high, glass stopper
