A PALE TURQUOISE AND GREEN GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE

The bottle is carved through the milky-green overlay with a continuous design of two bats amidst the 'Three abundances,' the peach, the pomegranate and finger citron.

The well-carved overlay of the current bottle is rendered in a manner that is usually found on jade carvings. By using a combination of opaque and translucent glass, the artisan has successfully mimicked the appearance of finely carved jade or jadeite.
