SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The bowl is potted with deep sides are covered inside and out with a thick iridescent black glaze, stopping in an irregular line and pooling above the foot, exposing the blackish-brown body. The mouth rim is mounted with a metal band.
