CIRCA 1740, POSSIBLY GENOA
Each with a square seat covered in 18th century silk gros- and petit-point embroidery depicting a central spray of tulips by pheasants and doves, the shaped apron with a central scallop-shell flanked by foliate scrolls, on cabriole legs headed by scallop-shells and terminating in scroll-feet with palmette motif, probably re-gilt, the rail numbered in pencil '7190'
