Cast in mirror image, standing with heads turned to one side, facial features and manes detailed in black and the white coats with aubergine and black spots, with colourful turquoise and dark blue trappings and twisted gilt metal reins resting on a saddle decorated with lozenges, the saddle cloth with stylised waves, their long gilt tails finely incised
