Lot Essay

Reference 130
Reference 130 is Patek Philippe's most classic chronograph design recognized by its Calatrava case, flat rectangular chronograph push buttons and concave bezel. Production was launched in 1934, the model was available in different precious metal versions as well as in stainless steel and with a variety of dial layouts.

Reference 130 is described and illustrated in Patek Philippe Museum - Patek Philippe Watches Volume II, pp. 263-265, and in Blue Book 1 by Eric Tortella, 2018 edition, pp. 218-275.
