MEIJI PERIOD (LATE 19TH CENTURY), SIGNED KAIGYOKUSAI AND SEALED MASATSUGU (KAIGYOKUSAI MASATSUGU; 1813-1892)
Finely carved as a long gourd and curled vineleaf, its stem forming the himotoshi (cord hole), the top and bottom lightly stained
5 ¾ in. (14.6 cm.) high
