Lot Essay

Jean Badovici was an influential Modern designer and architect in France in the first half of the twentieth century. He was notably the founder of the Bauhaus, Constructivist and de Stijl magazine L'Architecture Vivante, which he started in 1923, and for which the present work was a proposed cover.
