Each with an arched back and seat covered in close-nailed crimson and gold silk with foliate-carved scrolling arms on block and gadrooned legs joined by stretchers, one with label indistinctly inscribed in ink ANCIENNE COLLECTION/DE DUC DE LEVIS MIREPOIX
