Lot Essay

Hopkins was an important pioneer in studio pottery, specialising in saltglazes. He taught at Camberwell College of Art where Charles Vyse and William Staite Murray were trained. Hopkins exhibited at the prestigeous Fine Arts Society in the 1920s
