constructed in copper and brass, the hand beaten bonnet with three face plates with brass grills, spitcock valve, air inlet (no non-return valve), pepperpot adjustable exhaust valve, blanked off early telephone [?] valve, the helmet stamped 3632, the corselet with four straps and twelve bolts (four bolts missing), interupted thread, recessed neck ring, weight studs to front, stamped 3964 DEVENPORT -- 17in. (43cm.) high
