A double manual harpsichord by Burkat Shudi & John Broadwood, the nameboard inscribed Burkat Shudi et Johannes Broadwood/No 1015 Londini Fecerunt 1785 Great Pulteney Street Golden Square; the strung mahogany case with shaped and pierced brass hinges, on trestle stand with brass casters, ivory naturals and ebony accidentals, music stand probably later, 96½in. x 39¼in. (245cm x 99.6cm)
