A CONTINENTAL SILVER LARGE TORAH POINTER, AN AUSTRIAN, TWO GEORGE V AND A GEORGE VI SILVER-GILT EXAMPLE
The first bearing Dutch marks; the second apparently Vienna, 19th century, third London, 1913, maker's mark worn, fourth English, part marked, circa 1910; the fifth London 1949, maker's mark AT & Sn.
Each with hand pointer, the first with partly bulbous handle engraved with flowers, with dedicatory inscription, with clip--20in. (52cm.) long; the second tapered cylindrical with Hebrew owner's inscription, marked on ring for chain--10in. (25.4cm.) long; the third with two twisted tapered cylndrical sections, with cloth covered handle, owner's inscription --13in. (34.9cm.) long; the fourth with double cuff, partly chased with flowers, headed by crown--9in. (24.1cm.) long; the fifth with tapered paneled stem, with two compressed knops, with dedicatory inscription, with chain--12in. (30.4cm.) long; together with a brass example. (6)
