A PAIR OF MID-VICTORIAN CREAM-PAINTED AND PARCEL-GILT COMPOSITION SOFAS
Each with padded rectangular back, sides and seat covered in orange and red patterned material, the arms with scrolled leaf terminals on fluted and acanthus-clasped baluster supports, with square bases, above a flowerhead-centred entrelac seat-rail, on ring-turned and fluted legs with foliage capitals, brass caps and castors, redecorated, one inscribed in pencil to the seat-rail 'Jan 1906'
