Join Christie’s in Chicago

In honor of its 40th anniversary in Chicago, Christie’s will be celebrating with a series of special programming of viewings and events taking place at our Christie’s office and at iconic locales throughout the city. Over the years, Christie’s has played an important role in building the cultural landscape of the city which has been at the forefront of the art, architecture and design that came to define the 20th century.

Among the works on view are The Miles Davis Moon and Stars Trumpet, Charles White’s Banner for Willie J and highlights from New York’s 20th Century Week. Featured are the works of the James and Marilynn Alsdorf Collection, a trove amassed by longstanding art patrons and benefactors of major institutions in Chicago, including The Art Institute of Chicago and Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. The Clarke Collection will also be on view.
