Miffy Art Parade

2015 marks the 60th anniversary since Miffy first started delighting children and fans of all ages. In celebration of this beloved bunny, the Miffy Art Parade will honor Miffy, her creator Dick Bruna, and fans worldwide. The Miffy Art Parade unites, inspires and is helping to create a better future in partnership with UNICEF.

60 artists decorated a life-size statue of Miffy, of which 45 are on exhibition on various locations in the Netherlands and 15 are on tour in Japan.

Christie’s Amsterdam is one of those locations and proudly hosts Miffy Sunshine, decorated by photographer Carli Hermès. The statues will be auctioned by Christie’s Chief Auctioneer and Chairman Jop Ubbens, at Rijksmuseum in support of UNICEF on 8th October 2015.
