Selections from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer
and His Family Foundation

Christie’s is pleased to present Witness to this Game, a special exhibition of prints and multiples, taking place at Christie's San Francisco’s new downtown gallery space, 20 January – 25 March 2022. The exhibition will be comprised of 64 curated artworks by a group of 17 Black artists, including leading contemporary stars such as Mark Bradford, Derrick Adams, Alison Saar and Kehinde Wiley, as well as established 20th century master print-makers including Romare Bearden and Robert Colescott.

The exhibition is a testament to Jordan Schnitzer’s lifelong collecting journey emphasizing his dedication to acquiring works by artists from the Pacific Northwest and California. The exhibition’s title is a direct reference to Bay Area-based artist Mildred Howard’s series of prints, I've Been a Witness to this Game, eight of which will be featured in the exhibition.

Viewing begins 20 January at Christie’s San Francisco galleries.
