A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED MAHOGANY AND BOIS SATINE BUREAU PLAT
OF LOUIS XVI STYLE, LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The eared rectangular top with gilt-tooled tan leather, above two short and one long panelled frieze drawer to one side, and simulated drawers to the reverse, between acanthus-decorated angles, each end with a leather-lined slide, on turned tapering and stop-fluted legs with toupie feet
