Each on spreading circular foot and with baluster stem and spool-shaped socket, the bases with strapwork and husk border on a matted ground, the socket similarly decorated, the stem with guilloche border and husk and rosette flutes, the bases each engraved with a coat-of-arms with marquess' coronet above and later with the monogram AR, marked on bases and sockets
