H.F.S. Morgan, the founder of the Morgan Motor Company, produced the first of his three wheeler cars in 1910. The single seater was available with 4hp and 8hp J.A.P. engines and by 1911 a two seater became the standard model, with a choice of deluxe or sporting bodies. The Grand Prix Aero and Super Sports models followed and achieved outstanding successes in competition, being actively raced and trialed, as well as being used for record breaking. The three wheeler was produced for over forty years and its fine sporting tradition is kept alive today through the enthusiasm and competition activities of the 'Morgan Three Wheeler Club'.

By 1932 when this car was built, the company offered a five model range, two and three speed Family models, and a Sports Family model, alongside the mainstay Aero and Super Sports. The car on offer is an example of the latter, and is fitted with the desirable water-cooled J.A.P. engine and three speed gearbox.

These three wheeler Morgans are rare indeed, and offer an exhilarating 60mph performance. Anyone who has ever seen them racing will know just what tremendous fun they can provide.

In generally sound and complete order, the car has resided in the Tunick Collection for many years and has not been run recently. It is ripe for restoration, though due to the simplicity of the model it should represent a straight-forward rebuild.
