Lot Essay

Noel Redding purchased this guitar from Manny's, New York in 1967. Along with his Fender Jazz Bass, this guitar accompanied him on tour with The Jimi Hendrix Experience from 1967-1969. According to Noel Redding, Jimi Hendrix would sometimes play this guitar, maybe to show me how songs went, etc. in hotels, backstage or in recording studios... In addition to Little Miss Strange, Redding used it on all tracks on both Fat Mattress albums, 1969 and 1970.
