Large broadside on eight loose sheets (each sheet approximately 425 x 308 mm). Text printed on blue paper, the tables [dated 3 February 1826] printed on white paper.

Bando edition of a decree by Gomez Pedraza of March 21, 1826. This huge broadside proclaims the establishment of presidial companies to defend the frontier territories. Nine companies were to be stationed in Sonora and Sinaloa, three in New Mexico and seven in Coahuila and Texas. Seven tables detail the make-up, size and payroll of each company and their precise location at cities such as Tucson and San Antonio. Eberstadt, catalogue 162, no. 336 (incomplete). VERY RARE.
