TWO RARE CANTON FAMILLE ROSE 'EUROPEAN-SUBJECT' CHAMBER-POTS
early 19th century
One enamelled at the centre of the interior with a gentleman with hands thrown up and a speech bubble issuing from his mouth enclosing the words 'My Chops water' (sic), the other with a boy looking through a magnifying glass, both typically decorated on the exterior with figures at leisure on terraces below a band of flowers and butterflies
