A related drawing dated 1819 is in the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome and is illustrated in Tommaso Minardi, 1982, no. 99. The composition is inspired by Raphael's picture of La Belle Jardinière, in the Musée du Louvre, Paris.
