At the beginning of the film, Daffy tells Richard of an amazing paradise island inhabited by a small group of travellers, but the location is a closely guarded secret. Although intrigued, Richard is sceptical about the island's existance. Daffy is inexplicably murdered, but leaves a map for Richard, to show him the way to the island. Before he sets off in search of the island with two companions, in the words of Richard as he narrates the film ...I made a decision to leave a copy of the map. In the film, we see Richard pushing a similar map under the door of his American acquaintances, who later find the island, thus causing the community's downfall.
The reverse of the Aerogramme can be seen through an opening at the back of the frame.
