Jules Loebnitz is recorded as a faience manufacturer working in Paris 1861-1895. One of the clients of this factory was the architect Paul Sedillé. Commissioning works in faience such as the grand entrance way to the Beaux Arts Exhibit in Paris of 1878. See Régine de Plinval de Guillebon, Faïence et Porcelaine de Paris, Dijon, 1995, p. 227-228 and 270-271 for a discussion on Loebnitz's work and this collaboration.
